When you are in the process of kicking off a quality management system, training is not only important, it is mandatory. This is especially true for companies that are complying with the ISO 9001 standard, as proper training helps to cut down on human error and improve the overall quality of products, customer service and performance.

Of course, even though training is helpful at every level, not all employees are keen to get on board with training programs that use up a lot of their time and energy. This makes it even more important to clearly bring across the reason for and the benefits of the training to all employees  – even those at entry level.
